Each morning of your stay in our Virginia bed and breakfast, a hearty gourmet breakfast will be served in the cozy dining room adjacent to the great room. Wake to the tantalizing aroma of baking muffins and brewing coffee. Enjoy a delicious hot entrée, fresh fruit and juice, and the homemade specialty of the day. Dinner

Our Robert E. Lee Dining room provides an ideal alternative to a typical Lexington restaurant with its warmly intimate ambiance, natural wood décor, and breathtaking mountain views. We welcome you to an intimate Lexington dining experience that will go beyond all expectations in unforgettable surroundings. All dishes are made with the freshest ingredients and our homemade sauces and entrees are prepared at the time of your order.

Our three-course dinner consists of appetizer, entrée, non-alcoholic beverage, and dessert, and is served from 6:00 to 8:00 daily. Advance reservations are required for evening dining. Non-Inn staying guests are always welcome, please call for a reservation.  Please see below for a sample dinner menu.



 


 
 
Full county breakfast includes the Help Yourself Continental breakfast and your choice of a hot breakfast entrée.
 
Help yourself Continental Breakfast is served from 8:30 am to 10:00 am
Freshly baked muffins or breakfast bread and sliced seasonal fruits. 
 
  Hot Breakfast Entrée is served from 9:00 am to 10:00 am

Country Breakfast
Two Eggs cooked to order served with breakfast potatoes, toast, and bacon or sausage patties.

Pumpkin Pancakes
Three Pancakes that taste just like pumpkin pie and topped with brown sugar butter sauce.

Eggs Benedict
Two English muffins topped with, Canadian bacon, soft poached eggs, and hollandaise sauce.  

Omelets to order
Omelets the way you like them.  Add ham, sausage, bacon, cheddar cheese, spinach, peppers, tomatoes, or onions.

Buttermilk Waffle with Apples
Belgian Waffle cooked with cinnamon and vanilla and topped with apples and whipped cream. 

House Mountain Inn Eggs
Two scramble eggs with spinach and bacon served on a slice Texas Toast with melted Swiss cheese and topped with a tomato.  

French Toast and Peaches
Three slices of French toast topped with peach sauce, whipped cream, and fresh peaches.

Buttermilk Pecan Pancakes
Three pecan pancakes severed with brown sugar butter sauce and pecans.

Mozzarella Caprese
Fresh Mozzarella Cheese and Tomatoes infused with flavors of olive oil, basil, and Balsamic Reduction.  

Shrimp Cocktail
Jumbo Shrimp served chilled in a Martini glass with horseradish Cocktail Sauce.

Wild Mushroom Stuffed Raviolis
Ravioli served with a Roasted Red Pepper Sauce

Garden Fresh Salad
Mixed field greens with the perfect mixture of Roman tomatoes, heart of palm, red onions, dried cranberries, carrots, homemade croutons, and your choice of homemade dressing.  House Raspberry Vinaigrette, Blue Cheese, Balsamic Vinaigrette, and Ranch.

ENTRÉE


New York Strip
10 to 12 ounces of Natural Black Angus beef lightly seasoned and grilled to order and served with a robust peppercorn sauce.  Accompanied by Rosemary Roasted Potatoes and Mixed Grilled Vegetables.

White Marble Farm Pork Chop
All Natural Bone in Pork Chop cut straight from the rack and seasoned and served with a Red Wine Demi Glace.  Accompanied by Multi-grains with Portobello Mushrooms and Brandied Carrots.

Chicken Scaloppine
Sautéed Cutlet served with a delicious combination of Spinach, Asparagus, and Linguine. 

Grouper Napoleon
Pan Seared Grouper served with a Crab Cake, Asparagus spears and topped with Hollandaise. 

 Pasta with Marsalla Mascarpone Cream
Penne pasta served with Portobello Mushrooms, Sun Tried Tomatoes, and Zucchini.  Served with a Marsalla Mascarpone Cream Sauce.  

Sautéed Jumbo Scallops
Jumbo Scallops served with a Lobster Cream Sauce and accompanied by Mixed Grilled Vegetables and Rosemary Roasted Potatoes.
